Unpacking and Positioning

Remove all securing tapes from the refrigerator. Carefully position the refrigerator ensuring it is not near heat sources such as cookers, radiators, or direct sunlight. Allow for adequate ventilation by placing the back of the appliance close to the wall but not touching it. If necessary, adjust the level of the appliance by screwing out the adjustable foot or feet at the bottom of the cabinet.

Initial Cleaning

Clean the inside of the appliance and its accessories with a solution of lukewarm water and bicarbonate of soda (5 ml to 0.5 litre of water). Rinse and dry thoroughly. Avoid using detergents, abrasive powders, highly perfumed cleaning products, or wax polishes as these can damage the surface and leave a strong smell.

After positioning, leave the refrigerator to stand for 2 hours before plugging it in. This waiting period allows the refrigerant to settle, ensuring optimal performance.
